If you are quite musical, then there is plenty happening in Llandudno for you. For example, the European Union Chamber Orchestra, this event attracts people of any age. It takes place on the 25/01/2011. Another popular musical event taking place from on the 5/2/2011 is the North Wales Battle of the Bands. Also the Welsh National Opera - Die fledermaus 17/03/2011, the Welsh National Opera - Il trovatore 18/3/2011 & the BBC National Orchestra of Wales 20/3/2011.
And the Brilliant Russell Watson comes to town on the3/4/2011, exciting stuff!!!
The Victorian Extravaganza is a must for both locals and visitors to Llandudno. This magnificent event takes place on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd May. Entertainment over this 3 day event includes a parade, fairground rides, entertainers, costumes and a transport festival; it really is an event not to be missed.
More events that attract people to Llandudno are events involving sport, for example, there is a dads and daughters vs. mums and sons golfing competition. This takes place on 6th July, to the 14th September, and as you can tell this will attract people of all ages. Another exciting sporting event is the Cambrian Rally, which is a motor rally. This event takes place on 15th October in the welsh forests of Clocaenog and Penmachno, North Wales. This rally is known as one of the best rallies in the UK, so it is definitely one not to be missed!
If you are into comedy then the Comedy Works perform on the 7/1/2011 in Venue Cymru, John Bishop on the 29/1/2011 and the brilliant Sarah Millican on 20/3/2011 to give you a great big laugh!, what a way to start the New Year.
Every year Llandudno hosts an annual fireworks display which takes place on the 5th November on Llandudno’s water front.
