Venue Cymru in Llandudno This Month

The premier location for the best entertainment you can find in North Wales is never one to have an underwhelming bill and even less so this month. With legendary rock acts strutting their stuff of on stage to some of the nation’s finest stand-ups sending laughter all along the coast, it should be a fantastic October at Venue Cymru.

Kicking off proceedings is the hilarious Ed Byrne, undoubtedly one of the best comedians in Britain with his laconic view on middle-age and how to do it gracelessly. His observational comedy has been honed down the years by stints on the popular panel shows Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks but it’s onstage where he’s at his finest. Catch him on the 2nd of October. Another beloved panellist taking a bow this month is Jason Manford, the controversial man from Bolton sure to relish two-night tenure in the limelight in Llandudno. His machine-gun delivery is set to be a surefire winner with the crowd during the 14th and 15th of October.

Those of you with a penchant for the classics may be in for a treat when The Hollies storm the stage on the 10th of October. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are sure to bring their trademark energy and Northern gusto as they sing the classics during a 2 and a half-hour set. Everyone is familiar with at least one of their hits so if you’re looking for a great time with the family, why not go along? Slightly gentler in tone but with just as avid a fan base, Daniel O’Donnell comes to Llandudno in what’s sure to be a great night out – maybe the perfect early Christmas present for an older loved one? The Irish singer belts out his best and a few hidden gems on the 21st. There’s plenty more to indulge you with musically this month; check out some cover bands breathing life back into their idols throughout the month. From T-Rex to Pink Floyd, there’s a bit of something for everyone.

Venue Cymru’s always been associated with putting on excellent theatrical displays and this doesn’t look like changing any time soon. The cream of Broadway comes to Llandudno with a superb collection of the old classics and the flourishing new as well as playing host to several fascinating exhibitions.

With this and so much more to look forward in the world of film, music and theatre, there’s only one booking to make this autumn and there could be no more scenic place to stay than the Cae Mor Hotel in Llandudno, just a stone's throw away from the venue.
