Llandudno Transport Festival 2012

Every May bank holiday, the Llandudno Transport Festival is held at Bodafon Fields in Llandudno, North Wales. This year the Transport Festival will take place over the 5th, 6th and 7th of May.

The Transport Festival is the largest in Wales and one of the UK’s most popular events. It is held at the same time as the Victorian Extravaganza, which sends Llandudno back in time and attracts visitors from all around the country. The entertainment at the Extravaganza includes fairground rides, music and entertainment, a parade, shopping stalls and plenty of food and drink.

On Saturday, the Road Run takes in a tour of the World Heritage town Conwy, travelling through Llanrhos and Deganwy. Sunday includes two major events, the Crosville gathering of buses, coaches and the Extravaganza street parade.

On Sunday evening the second road run takes place, journeying around the Marine Drive for superb coastal views. The Extravaganza street parade takes place again at midday on Monday.

Looking for Llandudno Hotels, Llandudno has a wonderful range of beautiful Victorian Hotels along the promenade catering for all tastes and budges.
