The town of Llandudno is very much considered one of the best places you can visit within North Wales as a visitor, simply due to its combination of natural beauty, location, range of attractions & activities and the infrastructure set up to make tourists feel welcome within the town. The promenade is situated between Llandudno’ Little Orme and Great Orme, across the bay of Llandudno. The promenade is lined with fantastic Victorian hotels and bed & breakfasts, leaving you no shortage of places to stay. The promenade is a very peaceful place, as there are no shops or stalls trying to sell you something, meaning you can enjoy your relaxing time on the promenade and beach to the highest level.

The pier is located towards the Great Orme end of Llandudno. At well over 100 years old, the Llandudno pier offers an exceptional walk, exposing you to fantastic views across the sea, Great Orme and town coastline. There is plenty to keep you busy on the pier, with small shops, arcades and rides dotted along the pier, whereby you can pick up some souvenirs whilst on your visit.

Other attractions and activities within the area include taking a ride on the tram up the Great Orme, or even taking a cable car. A tour of the copper mines is also a popular activity where there is plenty to see and learn about! Walking up through Happy Valley, a spot notorious for its beauty and tranquility, you will come to the ski slope and toboggan track, whereby you and your family or friends can enjoy a few hours, with a café and bar situated in convenient distance from these activities.

If it’s raining, you can always take the trip to Llandudno Junction for the latest blockbuster film, or even stay within the Llandudno town and see what’s going on at Venue Cymru Theater! If it’s a night out you’re after, then you are in luck, the restaurants, pub, bar and night club scene is great, especially on the weekends, where you won’t struggle to find somewhere to enjoy an evening or night out!
